Valentino is a 4 month old seal point Ragdoll kitten with mitts and a blaze. He likes to explore the great outdoors however being a Ragdoll he needs constant supervision. Before we could venture beyond my backyard he needed to learn how to walk wearing a leash & harness. In this film we see what happens on the third day of his training – he still pretends he can no longer walk correctly but at least he starts to make an effort to move around the backyard. After just a few more sessions he had gained confidence and was ready for his first walk on the lead. It is a large and muscular semi-longhair cat with a soft and silky coat. Developed by American breeder Ann Baker, it is best known for its docile and placid temperament and affectionate nature. The name “Ragdoll” is derived from the tendency of individuals from the original breeding stock to go limp and relaxed when picked up. ‘
